Earn While You Learn

At Khalsa College for Women, Amritsar, we have a vision “to foster holistic development, provide skill based education, enhance employability and makes students empowered.” With this vision in mind, a scheme for Earn While Learn has been implemented for the benefit of students. The program's goal is to help students become well-rounded individuals who value equality and excel academically. This programme is also designed to help students who are economically disadvantaged and financially stressed. This increases the accessibility and availability of education.

Having a job while studying gives a student insight into the practical implications of theoretical concepts learned in classrooms. It improves the resume by providing hands-on experience, new exposure, and learnings. Furthermore, earning money while studying assists students in becoming self-sufficient and confident. Furthermore, it aids in levelling up students' interpersonal skills such as self-awareness, self-management, relationship management, listening, responsibility, showing appreciation, flexibility, and team player. It also teaches students time management, value, and money management.

Earn While Learn opportunity in ‘Science Genic’

Interview Round for part-time job opportunity in ‘Science Genic’ was conducted on 04 November 2022. 93 students applied and appeared for the interview of this opportunity from which 42 students were selected and 16 were shortlisted for re-appearing by the company.

Earn While Learn opportunity on ‘Diwali Fest’

Apart from focusing on Job-orientation, focus is also provided on building entrepreneurial skills among the students. Exhibition is being organised on major days to boost the skill development among the students. The products made by the students are showcased for prospective purchases.
