World Environment Day Celebration
Rotaract Club of Khalsa College for Women, Amritsar in association with Indian Chamber of International Business celebrated World Environment Day on 5th June, 2023 by organizing Tree Plantation activity in the college. Vice President North Region of Indian Chamber of International Business, Mr. Puneet Singh Chhatwal along with international delegates from Greece Embassy, Mr.Yerasimmo Lazaris honoured the Principal, Dr. Surinder Kaur and planted trees in the college campus. In the context of Har Ghar Healthy Program an initiative taken by Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Ministry of Culture, 94.3 MY FM, The college Principal Dr. Surinder Kaur wrote a letter to the residents of Amritsar and motivated them to make healthy diet and lifestyle as indispensable part of their lives. Ms. Ravinder Kaur, Ms. Manbir Kaur, Dr. Chanchal Bala and Dr. Jaswinder Singh were also present during the event.
